Your information should be handled with care.

We collect only the information needed to operate our programs, respond to inquiries, process subscriptions and donations, and meet our legal and recordkeeping responsibilities.

Website privacy notice

The short version

  • We collect information you choose to provide.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
  • We do not use personal information for behavioral advertising.
  • Sensitive participant information is protected with heightened safeguards and limited access.
  • You may ask to review or correct information you provided, subject to legal retention requirements.

Information we collect

We may collect information you voluntarily provide when you complete an intake form, contact TCC, apply to participate, make a donation, subscribe to the newsletter, or otherwise communicate with the organization. This can include your name, contact information, and information related to the administrative objective for which you are seeking help.

Some program forms may ask for disability, benefits, financial, or legal-process information when it is reasonably necessary for review or coordination. Participant information is governed by additional privacy and access controls.

Website and service providers

This public website is a static informational site and does not itself store participant case information. TCC uses third-party services for specific functions:

  • Google Forms and Google Workspace for intake and secure organizational records
  • Mailchimp for newsletter subscriptions and email delivery
  • Google Apps Script for the staff portal
  • Third-party payment processors when donation processing is available

The website also loads limited external assets, including fonts and contextual photography. Those providers may receive standard technical request information, such as an IP address and browser information, under their own privacy practices.

How we use information

Information is used to respond to inquiries, review eligibility, coordinate administrative advocacy, manage submissions and deadlines, process subscriptions or donations, maintain required records, meet legal obligations, and improve accessibility and website function.

We may share information with service providers only when needed to perform these functions, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the safety of participants, personnel, or the organization.

Retention and security

Records are retained only as long as necessary for legal, regulatory, operational, audit, and program purposes. Eligible records are securely deleted or destroyed under TCC's records policies.

TCC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including restricted access, secure cloud systems, password protection, and role-based permissions. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request to review, correct, or update personal information you provided. You may also request deletion where legally permissible. Some records must be retained for compliance, audit, or legal reasons.

Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe using the link included in each Mailchimp email.
